Not only did I love the lighthouses in North Carolina, but I also loved the piers! People were always catching something when we were walking on them and I really just liked sitting and people watching! Lol. You guys know how I’m in to two pieces right now so this outfit is one of my faves! I love the femininity of the lace and especially the cream color. I mentioned in my post Two- Piece Please that I liked to mix and match the two pieces which is what I’ve been doing a lot lately with this one. One of the best things about it is the mixing and matching! On another note, I picked up this hat from Old Navy last week…and it’s under $15 now! I wore it so much on the trip, and it ended up being a great addition to some outfits!I almost lost it a few times though; in between pictures I was trying to hold on to it because I literally thought it was about to fly into the ocean! But I managed to make it home with it so I’m considering myself lucky 🙂
Have a great weekend!

If you have been following my Instagram, you saw that I was in Nags Head, North Carolina last week! It was such a cute little beach town and in the pictures above you can see this amazing light house that was only about 5 minutes from our beach house. It was so neat because I had never seen a light house in person before. I was a little obsessed with it… I think I have like 30 pics of it on my phone haha! So, whenever we visited the lighthouse for the first time I knew I wanted to take pictures in front of it but I didn’t realize what a challenge it would really be…the wind was incredibly hard to work with so we ended up doing it early in the morning thinking it would be better but no the wind never stops blowing.. and the horseflies were terrible. But I was determined to get the pics so we made it happen! Anyways, one of my favorite outfits this entire trip was this simple little dress from Riffraff. I think I wore it 3 times overall because it’s perfect for the beach! Lol. My favorite part of the dress is definitely the ruffled back. I also like this dress because of the cinched waist. To keep the look going, I wore my Jack Rogers Sandals…(which I wore all week long!!) You definitely can’t go wrong with Jack Rogers. 🙂
Stop by later this week for another post from the trip!

While pastel tones are popular this year, you certainly can’t go wrong adding a punch of color to your closet. I’m obsessed with this top from Riffraff that is the perfect shade of red! (They also have a pretty blue one too.) If you’re like me, I prefer tops that are longer in the back which is why I think I like this one so much! P.s I’m in love with these heels I’m wearing! If you are wanting an easy heel for summer, I would definitely recommend these.
This week I am out of school minus a test I have to go back for on Thursday. So I’m basically considering myself out! A lot of things to look forward to this week and next…prom this weekend and graduation next! After prom, I will do a blog post on my dress like I did last year. (See here)
Have a great day!
